Pinocchio

(2022)Directed by Robert Zemeckis105 min · PGFantasy, Adventure, Family
“The beloved classic comes to life.”

A puppet carved from wood wakes up one night and starts to walk and talk, and nobody can say how. Geppetto (Tom Hanks), the old woodcarver who made him, wants him to be a real boy, and Jiminy Cricket (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is sent along to keep the new arrival out of trouble. Robert Zemeckis, working from the 1940 animated film, builds the world out of effects and song, with Pinocchio (Benjamin Evan Ainsworth) stepping out into it.
