Pippi in the South Seas

In the Swedish village where she lives with a horse and a monkey, Pippi Långstrump (Inger Nilsson) learns that her father, Kapten Långstrump (Beppe Wolgers), has been kidnapped by pirates in the South Seas. She sets off to find him with her neighbors Tommy (Pär Sundberg) and Annika (Maria Persson). Olle Hellbom films their voyage as a game where friendship and a strong girl's nerve are enough to take on any pirate.
