Pitch Black

“Don't be afraid of the dark. Be afraid of what's in the dark.”

Carolyn Fry (Radha Mitchell), the pilot of a transport ship, is flying a cargo of sleeping passengers and one shackled convict when comet debris tears the hull open and she crash-lands on a desert planet. Among the survivors is Riddick (Vin Diesel), a killer whose eyes see in the dark, and Fry is the one who wants him contained. David Twohy puts the two of them on opposite sides of the group, with the planet sinking toward a total eclipse and the dark coming down.
