Place Vendôme

Marianne Malivert (Catherine Deneuve) has spent years numb to her own life, and the only things that still reach her are the diamonds around her in Paris. Nicole Garcia sets the story in the jewelry trade of the Place Vendôme, where Marianne, Jean-Pierre (Jean-Pierre Bacri) and Nathalie (Emmanuelle Seigner) are drawn toward the stones and toward each other. What Marianne stands to lose is whatever in her life is worth more than any diamond.
