Placido
Plácido (Cassen) is a working man in a small Spanish town who owns one three-wheeled motorcar and owes more on it than it can earn. During the Christmas holidays, a group of rich old ladies hires him to drive in a parade for their campaign to seat a poor guest at a wealthy table. Luis García Berlanga fills the street with the ladies and the neighbors, and in the middle of them Plácido stands beside his small motorcar, which has to get through the day.
