Plan 75
In a near-future Japan with too many old people and too few young ones, the government has started a program called Plan 75, which invites citizens past a certain age to volunteer for euthanasia. Michi (Chieko Baisho), a widow living alone, is losing her work and her housing, and she begins to look at the brochure. Chie Hayakawa films all of it quietly and without comment, so the program reads as paperwork before anything else.
