Planet of the Apes

Captain Leo Davidson (Mark Wahlberg) is a brash astronaut who wants nothing more than to get home. His crash-landing on an uncharted planet drops him into a world where talking apes rule and humans are hunted and held as slaves. Tim Burton sends Leo running from General Thade (Tim Roth) and his gorilla army, and the last image the setup leaves is Leo on open ground, a soldier ape closing in.
