“Just a game?”

Three white boys, Sebastian (Sebastian Blyckert) among them, are stopped in a Gothenburg shopping center by a group of black boys, Anas (Anas Abdirahman) among them. The older group says one of the younger boys looks like the one who stole their brother's phone. It is based on court cases in which boys aged 12 to 14 robbed other children. Ruben Östlund films most of it in long, still shots from a distance, so you watch the whole encounter at the pace it happens.
