(1998)Directed by Willard Carroll121 min · RComedy, Drama, Romance

“If romance is a mystery, there's only one way to figure it out.”

Los Angeles in 1998 holds nine people who barely know one another, each one running up against love in a different way. Meredith (Gillian Anderson) hunts for romance, while Mildred (Ellen Burstyn) and Paul (Sean Connery) have to face a long marriage with a good deal left unsaid. Willard Carroll cuts between them all, and Joan (Angelina Jolie) goes out looking for someone who will not leave.
