“An incomparable spectacle.”

Monsieur Hulot (Jacques Tati) arrives at a business appointment in a Paris of glass, steel and gadgets, and promptly loses his way through it. Barbara (Barbara Dennek), an American tourist, crosses his path again and again as they both wander the city. Jacques Tati sends them toward the same crowded restaurant, where the whole evening could come apart.
