Plebs: Soldiers of Rome

Grumio (Ryan Sampson) joins the Roman army in peacetime with his friends Marcus (Tom Rosenthal) and Jason (Jon Pointing), hoping for respect, romance and a discount at certain restaurants. Then war is declared, and the three of them are marched to the front line of a legion to fight for a cause none of them believes in. Sam Leifer keeps the deadpan flat and the dialogue small, so the battlefield sounds like three flatmates arguing.
