Pocahontas

(1995)Directed by Mike Gabriel, Eric Goldberg81 min · GAdventure, Animation, Family, Romance
“An American legend comes to life.”

English ships land in 17th-century Virginia, and Governor Ratcliffe (David Ogden Stiers) wants the colonists digging for gold on Powhatan land. Pocahontas (Irene Bedard), the chief's daughter, meets the soldier John Smith (Mel Gibson) in the woods, with her raccoon Meeko close behind. Gabriel and Goldberg set their first love against two peoples already reaching for weapons, and both sides are one misjudgment from war.
