“A hell of a day. A hell of a pair.”

A hospital at night is where it starts, with Paul (Anthony Mackie), a nurse, looking after Abe (Frank Grillo), a wounded man the police want for murder. Then Abe's brother kidnaps Paul's pregnant wife, Taryn (Teyonah Parris), and the price is Abe himself. Joe Lynch puts the two men on the run together, handcuffed by circumstance and a shared fear for her.
