Point of No Return

“The government gave her a choice. Death. Or life as an assassin. Now, there's no turning back.”

Maggie Hayward (Bridget Fonda) is a violent offender whose sentence ends in an execution chamber, and she does not go quietly. A government agent called Bob (Gabriel Byrne) stages her death and puts her through training to become a killer with no name and no record. John Badham gives that new life to Maggie as a trade: she obeys, or she goes back to the room she was supposed to die in.
