Poison

Poison braids three stories together. In the first, a seven-year-old boy shoots his father and then flies out the window, and the neighbors who knew the family tell it back in interviews. In the second, a scientist drinks a sex drive he has isolated and breaks out in sores. In the third, two men in a prison come to depend on each other. Todd Haynes cuts among them and gives each its own look, as if three different films had been spliced into one.
