Poison Ivy

“Ivy thought her best friend had the perfect house, the perfect family, the perfect life. So she took them.”

In 1992 Los Angeles, Sylvie Cooper (Sara Gilbert) is a lonely high school student whose only company is a sick mother and a distant father in a large, quiet house. Then Ivy (Drew Barrymore) befriends her and starts working her way into the family, as Katt Shea lets the Coopers' money and comfort sit open to anyone who looks closely enough. The film is about what a family owns and how little of it is actually protected.
