“One person can make all the difference.”

In the Orange Islands, a collector named Lawrence III sets out to capture the Legendary Pokémon Lugia, and nature starts to fall out of balance. Satoshi (Rica Matsumoto), the trainer known abroad as Ash, and Pikachu (Ikue Otani) get pulled in with Kasumi (Mayumi Izuka) and Kenji (Tomokazu Seki), since the world depends on them. Kunihiko Yuyama directs it as hand-drawn animation built for a family audience, with big creatures and bigger weather.
