“If the job doesn't kill you, retirement will.”

Duncan Vizla (Mads Mikkelsen), the assassin known as the Black Kaiser, is days from retirement when he learns the contract on his life has been signed by his own employer, who would rather not pay out his pension. Jonas Åkerlund, adapting Víctor Santos's graphic novel, sends a crew of younger, ruthless killers after him. Duncan has to pick up the work he meant to leave behind, because the gang is already closing in.
