Pollock

(2000)Directed by Ed Harris132 min · RDrama, History
“A true portrait of life and art.”

Jackson Pollock (Ed Harris) is a painter who drinks hard, trusts almost no one, and has just been asked by Life Magazine whether he is the greatest living painter in America. Ed Harris directs himself in the role, with Marcia Gay Harden as Lee Krasner, the painter who becomes his wife. Lee gives up her own career to steady him, and the marriage is where his self-doubt and his drinking show up every day.
