“No matter where Carol Anne goes... she never goes alone.”

The ghostly Reverend Kane has followed Carol Anne Freeling (Heather O'Rourke) out of her old life, and he does not stop at the city limits. She has been sent to Chicago to stay with her uncle Bruce (Tom Skerritt) and aunt Patricia (Nancy Allen) in their apartment in a tall glass building, hoping he can't find her there. Gary Sherman keeps the family inside those walls, where Bruce doubts what Carol Anne tells him and Patricia is the one who listens.
