“It’s Scentsational!”

Francine Fishpaw (Divine) only wants a quiet suburban household, but her husband runs a pornographic theater, her mother takes her money, and her two children cause trouble. She drinks, and her sharp sense of smell makes all of it harder to ignore. John Waters borrows the weepy look of Douglas Sirk's melodramas and hands each viewer a scratch-and-sniff Odorama card, so the theater itself starts to smell.
