Polytechnique
On December 9, 1989, a gunman (Maxim Gaudette) walks into the École Polytechnique in Montreal and begins killing the women inside. Denis Villeneuve follows two students through the building, Valérie (Karine Vanasse) and Jean-François (Sébastien Huberdeau), as the classrooms and corridors empty around them. Valérie is an engineering student with a job interview waiting, and the film keeps asking what she has to carry out of that day.
