Jewellery agent PP Ajesh (Basil Joseph) lends 25 sovereigns of gold to Terrance Bruno (Anand Manmadhan) for his sister Steffi's wedding, and gets back only half. When he asks for the rest, he runs into Steffi's husband Mariano (Sajin Gopu), a prawn farmer in coastal Kollam whom people there prefer not to cross. Jyothish Shankar keeps Ajesh at the edge of Mariano's farm, holding the receipt for the gold.
