“The Cholas are Back”

Aditha Karikalan (Vikram), the Chola crown prince, has never stopped wanting Nandini (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan), the woman who took his heart and wants him dead. It is 968 AD, and Pandyan assassins are gathering again, while rumours spread that his brother Arunmozhi Varman (Ravi Mohan) has been lost at sea. Mani Ratnam sets the Chola court against enemies on every border, and the old love and the old grudge keep pulling Karikalan toward her.
