Pootie Tang

“Too cool for words.”

Pootie Tang (Lance Crouther) wants to keep his magic belt and stay true to the kids who look up to him. A corporation wants the opposite, a spokesman who will push its addictive products on those same kids. Everyone in the film understands his speech perfectly, though almost none of it is English, and Louis C.K. plays it completely straight, as a blaxploitation hero in a plain old workplace comedy.
