Porcupine Lake

Bea (Charlotte Salisbury) is 13, spending a hot, hazy summer in northern Ontario, and she wants a best friend more than she wants anything else. Then she meets Kate (Lucinda Armstrong Hall), who is loud and sure of herself, and the friendship turns into more than Bea had imagined. Ingrid Veninger follows the two girls through the small town, where being brave with each other is a real risk.
