Portrait of a Young Girl at the End of the '60s in Brussels
Michèle (Circé Lethem) spends an hour talking with friends old and new, trying to work out where she stands in the world and what she feels about her own sexuality. Chantal Akerman, drawing on her own past, keeps the camera close as Michèle talks with Paul (Julien Rassam) and Danielle (Joëlle Marlier). It is the end of the sixties in Brussels, and Michèle stays at the center of the frame, a young girl in the middle of talking it through.
