“Mayday”

A rogue wave hits a packed cruise ship in the Atlantic and flips it upside down, leaving the passengers in a ballroom that is now the ceiling. Dylan Johns (Josh Lucas) refuses to wait for rescue and starts leading a small group toward the bottom of the hull, among them Robert Ramsey (Kurt Russell), who will not leave his daughter Jennifer (Emmy Rossum) behind. Wolfgang Petersen gives them one night, and Ramsey intends to spend it keeping her alive.
