Possessed
“How long will it last?”
Marian Martin (Joan Crawford) works a factory line and wants out, wants a penthouse and the kind of life that comes with one. Mark Whitney (Clark Gable), a wealthy and influential lawyer, can give her all of it, though not his name. Clarence Brown puts the two of them in the same room again and again, and the question is how long she can live in his apartment without being his wife.
