Possessed

“You’ll be possessed by the love-madness of "POSSESSED"”

Louise Howell (Joan Crawford) is found wandering the streets of Los Angeles, rigid and unable to answer a single question. At the hospital, Dr. Harvey Willard (Stanley Ridges) draws out the story of how she got there, and it leads back to her ex-lover David Sutton (Van Heflin) and the man she married, Dean Graham (Raymond Massey). Curtis Bernhardt returns us to the hospital room, where Louise sits stiff and silent beneath the doctor's lamp.
