Postmen in the Mountains

In 1999 the mountains of Hunan are still crossed on foot, and the postman who has walked the mail route there all his life is about to retire. His only son (Liu Ye) is due to take the job, so the father (Teng Rujun) walks the first route beside him. Huo Jianqi sets two men on the same narrow trail, one who has long known every stop and one who has never walked it.
