Poupelle of Chimney Town

Lubicchi (Mana Ashida) is a boy in Chimney Town who wants to see the real sky, though black smoke from the tall chimneys has hidden it for as long as anyone remembers. On Halloween night he meets Poupelle (Masataka Kubota), a trashman made of garbage and scrap. Yûsuke Hirota's film sets the friendship against a town that has settled for the dark, and the two of them stand to lose it all by looking up.
