Prayers for the Stolen

“Find the light in the darkness.”

Ana (Ana Cristina Ordóñez) and her friends María (Blanca Itzel Pérez) and Paula (Camila Gaal) grow up in a Mexican countryside village while their families work the poppy fields for opium. The cartel's menace presses closer to the village as the girls get older. Tatiana Huezo keeps the focus on the bond between Ana and María, a closeness the danger around them cannot loosen.
