Pretty in Pink

“Blane's a pretty cool guy. Andie's pretty in pink. And Duckie's pretty crazy.”

Andie Walsh (Molly Ringwald) is a high school senior who wants to get through the year on her own terms, working at a record store and hanging out with her friend Duckie (Jon Cryer), who has long been in love with her. Then Blane (Andrew McCarthy), one of the rich kids, asks her out, and Howard Deutch follows the two of them across the line between their worlds. If she lets herself fall for him, Andie risks her place with the people she already has.
