Pretty Village, Pretty Flame

Why is a group of Serbian soldiers pinned inside a tunnel at the start of the Bosnian War, and what drove each of them in there? Srđan Dragojević brings the story back to a time before the siege, to the village where Milan (Dragan Bjelogrlić) and Velja (Nikola Kojo) once lived as neighbours and friends. By the time the soldiers sit trapped in the dark together, the film has made clear how much is broken between those two men.
