Pretty Woman

(1990)Directed by Garry Marshall120 min · RRomance, Comedy
She walked off the street, into his life and stole his heart.

Edward Lewis (Richard Gere), a wealthy corporate raider, picks up Vivian Ward (Julia Roberts), a sex worker on Hollywood Boulevard, and hires her for a week as his companion at business events. He offers her money and a hotel room; she offers him an unguarded evening in a city built on surfaces. Garry Marshall fills the week with laughter and small moments of tenderness, and by the end Edward climbs the fire escape with roses in his hand.
