“A Therapeutic New Comedy”

Rafi Gardet (Uma Thurman), a career-driven professional in Manhattan, starts seeing David Bloomberg (Bryan Greenberg), a young painter who is the first person to woo her in a long while. What she doesn't know is that David is the son of Lisa Metzger (Meryl Streep), the psychoanalyst Rafi talks to every week. Ben Younger sets the three of them on a collision course, and the question is how long Rafi can keep two rooms apart.
