Prince of the City

“A cop is turning. Nobody's safe.”

Daniel Ciello (Treat Williams) is a New York narcotics detective who agrees to help federal investigators root out corruption in the police department, on one condition: he won't have to give up any close friends. Sidney Lumet follows him as the promise starts to pull against the men he works beside, among them Gus Levy (Jerry Orbach). Ciello walks the city's streets and hallways with a wire taped to him, and the faces around him begin to read differently.
