Prison on Fire

In a crowded Hong Kong prison in 1987, Lo Ka Yiu (Tony Leung Ka-fai) arrives as a newcomer and gets taken in by Chung Tin Ching (Chow Yun-Fat), an inmate who has learned how the place works. Ringo Lam puts them up against violent prisoners and wardens like Officer "Scarface" Hung (Roy Cheung Yiu-yeung), men who answer to no one. Inside these walls, protection costs loyalty, and loyalty is the only currency that holds.
