Private Desert

Daniel (Antonio Saboia) is a 40-year-old police officer, suspended and under investigation for violence, when the woman he has been courting online, Sara, stops answering his messages. He drives north to find her, showing her photograph to strangers who shake their heads, until one man says he can put them in touch if Daniel meets his conditions. Aly Muritiba keeps his camera close on Daniel's face, long enough to catch him going quiet.
