“Today is better the second time around.”

David Raskin (Jonny Weston) is a high school science kid who finds the secret plans for a time machine among his late father's things. He builds it with his sister Christina (Virginia Gardner) and his friends Quinn (Sam Lerner) and Adam (Allen Evangelista), and Jessie (Sofia Black-D'Elia) joins them. Dean Israelite shoots it through the group's own cameras, all handheld and shaky, with the crew's laughing faces crowded in close.
