Psycho

“Check in. Relax. Take a shower.”

Marion Crane (Anne Heche), an embezzler on the run, pulls off the road and checks into the old Bates Motel, where the owner, Norman Bates (Vince Vaughn), seems eager to talk. Gus Van Sant remakes Hitchcock's 1960 film, itself adapted from Robert Bloch's 1959 novel, and keeps the story close to what came before. Marion sits in the small office with the stuffed birds, and the house on the hill looks down.
