Psycho Beach Party

“Party till you drop. Dead.”

Chicklet (Lauren Ambrose) is a sixteen-year-old tomboy in 1962 Malibu who wants in with the surfers who rule the beach. Robert Lee King adapts Charles Busch's off-Broadway play, which Busch also wrote for the screen and appears in as Captain Monica Stark (Charles Busch). Her personality is split into more slices than a pepperoni pizza, and the more she chases the in-crowd, the harder it gets to keep track of who she is.
