Psycho IV: The Beginning

“You've met Norman, now meet Mother...”

Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins) picks up the phone and calls a radio show under a false name, because the host, Fran Ambrose (CCH Pounder), has made matricide the night's topic. As he talks, the film cuts back to young Norman (Henry Thomas) at home with his mother, Norma (Olivia Hussey). Mick Garris builds the story around the two of them, a mother and son whose closeness the call begins to unwind.
