PT 109

“Most men would have given up...But not the crew of PT 109”

Lt. John F. Kennedy (Cliff Robertson) is a young Navy officer in the Pacific during World War II, handed command of a small, fast patrol boat. Leslie H. Martinson follows him and his crew, including Ensign Leonard J. Thom (Ty Hardin), into battle against a Japanese destroyer, then onto an island where they have to find food, shelter and a way to signal for rescue. Kennedy keeps his voice level and does the next job in front of him, for the men who depend on him.
