Pudhupettai

“Survival of the Fittest.”

In the slums of Pudhupettai, North Chennai, 'Kokki' Kumar (Dhanush) is a carefree teenager until his mother dies and he runs from home. A local gang takes him in, and Selvaraghavan follows his quick climb to the dreaded right hand of a dirty politician. For a boy from the slums, the gang is a means of survival, and violence becomes the only way he has to matter.
