“You are now infected.”

Mattie (Kristen Bell) just wants to know why her boyfriend Josh (Jonathan Tucker) stopped answering his phone and then stopped being around at all. Her search leads her to Dexter (Ian Somerhalda), a stranger holding messages that seem to come from the dead through cellphones and computers. Jim Sonzero gives her no one to turn to, and Mattie keeps looking for a signal that might still be human.
