Pure

“Save yourself”

Shay (Jahkara Smith) is a teenage girl at a Purity Retreat, surrounded by fathers and daughters and a pastor, Seth (Scott Porter), who watches over all of them. She and Jo (McKaley Miller) slip away with other girls to perform a secret ritual of their own. Hannah Macpherson holds the camera tight on Shay's face, where the fear stays when the dances and the prayers go on around her.
