Pushing Tin

“A comedy about losing control”

Nick Falzone (John Cusack) is the best controller in the New York TRACON, the radar room that guides planes in and out of the city's airports. Then Russell Bell (Billy Bob Thornton) transfers in, quieter and just as reckless, and the two start a contest over which of them is more of a man. Mike Newell lets it play out in the room's strict routines, with each controller's job, his marriage and Nick's wife Connie (Cate Blanchett) all put at risk by the rivalry.
