Puzzle of a Downfall Child

Lou Andreas Sand (Faye Dunaway), a once famous model, sits in a house by the sea and goes back over her years in New York, the punishing workdays, her affair with an advertising executive named Mark (Roy Scheider). The memories arrive out of order. Schatzberg, a photographer himself, ends on Lou alone, the pieces of her life spread around her like a set of prints she cannot put in sequence.
